This is where we find free information that enters our minds and shape our future. I remember back in 90s when I was in primary school, I only new 9 Planets existed, now thanks to the present technology we have more than 10. By 2020, I am sure we will have 30 Planets.

Knowledge truly is power, right now we are the Einstein of the future, and whatever we code down is building the future. There were a time people dreamt of flying, now we got aeroplanes and the next big thing is telepathy. Now we are talking about video conferencing, in 20 years to come, we will be talking about hologram. People were worried about leprosy back then, now its Aids, cancer and I tell you what, by 2030 the cure will be with us. And finally the time travel Machine, we may have seen it in movies and think that this is just a sci fiction, if you are a fun of James bond movies then you will notice that whatever you saw in there, the car turning into a boat..hmm? now it’s a reality. All this changes happening in the world, is a fight to have that technology to crack time, So that we can go back in world war times to see what transpired. Go back in medieval times to experience crucifixion of Christ, and again travel to the future to see how robots are becoming tour guides, drivers and watchmen. Travel to the future and see humans living with Aliens and be able to make homes in the discovered new planets since humans population on earth is rapidly increasing. The idea is not just to have fun traveling back and forth, but actually come up with codes that will be able to help us in real-time happenings of the world.

My friend, don’t let your status quo diminish you, rise up and take part in the future, lets assemble as much knowledge as we can, get hold of that itchy information that seems to eat your mind. I believe that, if I cannot be able to finalize my code and solve the equation this time, then I will complete my ideas and plant it to my son, who will code it to his son and finally the grandson with enough technology around him, will give birth to a Time travel machine.

I tell you, developing softwares or coding applications is what should be put as first priority, gigantic machines, super computers do not teleport people, but energy and code does. For energy, we got the Nuclear Energy. People think that this is mostly used to fuel wars, but I insist, this is the energy to use to teleport us and power that engine to the year 1960s and vroom 2050 pap!

With that, let me end this by saying that never hold back information especially tech ones, God created us as powerful beings beyond measure, so let’s do some coding, I want to have a chat with Abraham Lincoln.SAMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13641090943313265403noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4585567699049000407.post-46129076027922754792011-03-25T04:17:00.000-07:002011-03-25T04:17:46.952-07:00The Light-Driven Computer-How it worksThe world is gearing into more advanced and super first gadgets, and today i got the chance to admire what is happening around IBM world.

Read on Courtesy of IBM:

IBM's Light-Driven Processor Courtesy IBM

The speed of light is as fast as it gets, and IBM researchers are exploiting that fact to give supercomputers a boost. They’ve made the smallest-yet silicon chips that use light to transmit information.
Most parts of the chip resemble those found on any other commercial chip. The parts that process or transform information—in other words, the parts that do the actual computing—still deploy electrons moving through semiconductor gates. But the interconnects, the lines that shuttle information between different areas within a chip, are drastically different. Instead of shuttling electrons, which can slow down significantly when the interconnects heat up, they shuttle light. That’s because light is easy to contain and loses less information as it travels. The researchers hope that this quick communication will make possible the first exascale computers—that is, computers that can perform a billion billion computations per second, 1,000 times as fast as today’s speediest systems.
One other benefit, says IBM engineer Will Green: The optical interconnects use significantly less power, making them cheaper to run. That’s particularly important given that supercomputers typically consume megawatts of power during operation. IBM, which has already made a working prototype, says a commercial version of the chip will debut in a supercomputer in around 2018.
And I conclude, where we are heading is far much important than where we are now, The future is created 'now'SAMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13641090943313265403noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4585567699049000407.post-90349837622821890762011-03-16T08:57:00.000-07:002011-03-16T09:02:11.342-07:00Uceprotect is not a reputable blacklist site
Being a system administrator you need always to put your ears on the ground and not just follow the usual trend. The other day, one of the gateways IP Address got blacklisted, according to them, our mail server or one of the network computers was spamming. IT was that time you go around 30 computers to figure out which one is spamming, after whole the exercise you discover that none is.I again made several requests to get white listed but in vain.

However, I did found out that Uceprotect is not a reputable blacklist site, at the end of wanting to get whitelisted, I was told to pay for it. This provoked me to dig deeper on my research and truly discovered that Uceprotect is a fake blacklist site and it just want to make money by blacklisting several IP Addresses that have a repetitive Internet activity, it doesn’t check if this activity are Legit or are coming from trusted sources

.
The Best solution was to get hold of your I.S.P and let them deal with it, and for sure it saved me lot of a hustle.

So how does one get blacklisted, well iTkenya discovered that:
•If your Exchange Server is configured to act as an open relay, it means that spammers can pass spam through your mail server in route to its final destination. So all spam that appears to your recipient will appear coming from your domain.
•Spammers need to keep their identity concealed, so they make up e-mail addresses every time they send out spam, this email address can be created using your domain

•An IP address is typically blacklisted either because it is associated with a server that is acting as a mail relay, or because a spammer is spoofing the IP address.

And how does one avoid this
•Make sure you have correct IP address mapping
•Make sure your mail server is not configured as an open relay
•Always Run Antispyware and scan your computers to free them from viruses and malwares

Very Important

How to test if your server is configured to act as an open relay
This will be a dream come true, while am at it. here comes PASHA COMMUNITIES.
Kenya ICT Board and Family Bank have launched a Ksh 320 million loan facility to support the establishment of Cyber Centres across the country calling them .Pasha Centres.
This Centres,to be developed in rural areas will be offering bureau and internet services for the public to get informed and improve there leaving standards.

The best part is you can own this Pasha Centre and run it to make money. All you need is an excellent Business Plan.Capital? well that's where Family Bank comes in and with below simple steps you will be good to go.
What next for Facebook. It has become a powerhouse that holds information, be it personal or companies.

What is the boy of Facebook planning to do with all this information, the one who was voted 2010 Person of the year by time magazine and recently worse dressed celebrity?

By creating Facebook account adding friends and updating our profiles we give away all out details to the public, (the privacy thing, doesn’t work, they are workaround ways to suck information and hey do you trust Zuckerberg and his team) this everyone knows and we are still doing it. I believe the boy is smiling all day to the bank like every day. He is making money through advertisements and he will never stop.

Today iTkenya has discovered something different. Mr. Zuckerberg has a something else major in his genius mind.

I can feel it in my gut, and it will be powerful, I am not talking about him wanting to rule the world, coming up with an operating system or a social operating system, maybe a Facebook search engine something more like Wikipedia, Bing and Google.

I am talking about shares.

His company has grown and is still growing, soon you will hear about Facebook shares, I hope it won’t be like our own safaricom and oh before I forgot I also what to know if Zuckerberg is on C.I.A pay cheque and also if he is on twitter…Damn he is!!

The use of a relative path used suggests that AVG positions itself
between the browser and the website in order to intercept the request
and serve the .js from a local source.
The script is injected
in a non-standard way, right after the document definition and outside
of the
element, where such resources are normally defined.
This technique is most likely used to ensure that avg_ls_dom.js is
loaded before any other script possibly injected by attackers into the
original page.
The JavaScript code inside the file is supposed
to create a buffer with the content of the page and submit it via POST
to another relative URL called /CC0227228D62/CheckData.
httpRequest.open("POST", "/CC0227228D62/CheckData", false);
httpRequest.setRequestHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
httpRequest.send(params);
This request should again be intercepted by the AVG module, which
should inspect the code and give the go-ahead to display the page or
tell the script to throw an error instead.
However, it seems
that a bug causes the proxy-like component to let requests through and
get sent to the server from where the page was loaded.
As a result webmasters will see requests of the form: <source_ip>
- - [12/Oct/2010:00:06:32 -0400] "POST /CC0227228D62/CheckData
HTTP/1.1" 404 5486 "http://
" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U;
Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 YFF35 Firefox/3.6.8"
(27)
This is a form of HTTP hammering and its impact will depend on how many users with AVG 2011 access a particular site.
Our own data suggests that occurrences have increased during the past
few days and the requests are being sent from IE, Firefox, Chrome and
Opera.
However, end users are most affected in all this,
because their browsers will open tens or hundreds of connections in the
background and will become unresponsive.
Reports suggest other
usability issues as well. For example, users not being able to use
certain features on legit websites like YouTube, or the IE7
compatibility mode being broken for IE8 users.
According to a topic on the French AVG support forum, the company is aware of at least some of these problems and is working to resolve them.

In my opinion. I advice google not to shut it down complitely only put a pause on it as this is future of comunication, its just that the technology came too quickly and many users couldnt understand it to use it, with time it would pick up. blame it on Face book, twitter, msn, yahoo messenger and myspace..dominating internet communications.

So what is Google wave,..Google wave is a web-based service, computing platform, and communications protocol designed to merge e-mail, instant messaging, wikis, and social networking, all into one platform. Here you can chat REAL TIME with friends, check mail and network..You can also do daily planing for your meetings and activities in line for the day. To me, it is something that will help people balance their time spent on chatting and plans made for the day.. Trust me, people especially young people have been caught up spending long hours twitting forgetting to sturdy for their exam, or spend quality time with friends and family or complete some task..

Furthermore the people who designed Google Maps, the brothers( Jens and Lars Rasmussen) were the ones behind this. Meaning this is something..Google don't shut it down, improve it and that's iTkenyait.

For more information and registering to use it before it is shut down, hey by the way, you joining or signing up may give Google a second thought and maintain it..Common guyz..
Truly it is not easy to update the sites like daily or every hour, you need to have topics, touch real issues and find a way to keep your readers glued on your blog. as much as I try to find loyal readers, daily life too has its plans and hey God too... so you just have to keep on going, i know one time when more word will be on the street about iTkenya then yeah...Enough said.

Dell have been on the news lately on some fault they had on their machines, apparently some students subjected the computers to some maths and the thing went dead..How can you give some instruction on computer( we are talking about dell) and then they go numb, can happen if there is a hardware faultiness after long use, but well the machines had to be taken to the Dell company and some manufacturer faults were found..now the dell company are on their toes.

so if you want to buy a dell machine or like you are going to do now, i suggest you put it on hold till this story is resolved.

Allow me to introduce Camara Education who are in the process of
partnering with NEMA to deal with e-waste in the country. 10% of
Camara's work is to bring in hardware to assist in delivering
education to schools and it was very easy to collect Camara donated
computers which had become obsolete and ethically dispose them by
shipping some parts to our partners in South Africa and Singapore.
Having received some little capital from a Hardware manufacturer, we
are now collecting anything electronic which is dead, broken,
unusable/usable and even burnt.

We will be giving a small incentive/amount for big quantities and we
are not charging anything for companies who want to dispose there
equipment. We will also be destroying data on hard drives using 'US
DoD 5220.22M' standards for free and thereafter will be issuing a
certificate for companies which will be stamped by NEMA to acknowledge
there environmental responsibility by ethically disposing off
electronic waste.

We have acquired an 8000sqft facility in Mombasa for e-waste
processing and our processes and standards are very open to the public
for purposes of education and hopefully we will be certified to ISO
14001 in the next 12 months.

We are therefore open to business and partnerships to all stakeholders.

Kindly, contact me for any further information or if you have any
quantities for collection.

Yes..thats it..you interact with your Television..Say stories, chat and vote YES or No to competitions on screen with you remote( you don't have to send that sms to KTN, NTV on their debate during prime time news), you are watching football, Papa Shirandula and you don't want to experience any commercial brake well, you disable this options on your TV and that Detol Kid wont pop again,,u enjoy the whole program without interruption, You want to go to the Loo and you don't want to miss a thing, your phone is ringing and you don't want to miss a Love Spell Scene well, put a Pause on the Live program, take that call as long as you want, go to the Loo..heck you can even take a trip Isiolo and come back some time later and press play to continue watching your program... Folks, that is what we call Interactive TV.

You have experience the power of Fiber Optic, now you are going to experience the power of TV. You thought PC and Laptop is Cool with internet in them. well here comes Interactive TV to Kenyans. Other countries and some peeps have it on their PVR or line of broadcast, but due to the introduction of Digital Tv in kenya these is the next big thing and everyone will enjoy it, interest you.. Put on your sit-belts and take a rid with me...

What is interactive tv?

Interactive TV (iTV) is any television with what is called a “return path”. Information flows not only from broadcaster to viewer( many people think this is so), but also back from viewer to broadcaster.

Advantage of Interactive tv?

Viewers take control on what to watch, what not to watch..i.e the Broadcast doesn't control you on what you want to watch, giving you a list of programs dates and time to watch, you the viewer will have power to view what you want and what you don't want. Get to record program, and Pause Live coverage.

Designers, Developers, Marketers, it is now time to make money through coming up with various macmemende staffs, local programs, animations, and Talk Shows. This is so, because the space given to broadcastors is huge...take adventage, they will be wanting something for the viewers and yes,,,LOCAL CONTENT IS MUCH BEING RECOMMENDED..Before I forgot..Google Tv..is coming up.( if anything interest google, i get intrested.)

Why now ?

So that the government, hospital, fire departments, police can take up the analog space and use it for their comunication without interferences ( hackers like to tap on these communication lines). It is now because there is too much competition for the space and yes for security reason( we don't want to let what happen in 2007/8 happen again)

Food For Thought

If interactive TV information flows from the viewer to the broadcaster, does it mean the viewer is getting spied upon?

Enjoy you weekend

iTkenya today is sharing CrossLoop information to those(like me) who have ventured into online business of solving I.T related problems and also to others whom want to provide this service remotely( sitting on their home/office computer and be able to connect to their client globally and get paid solving software related problems, be it Data recovery, Desktop support, training, software repair..e.t.c)

Lets explore..What is CrossLopp?

Is a software that you install in your computer and to your clients at different locations( they can install it themselves by u sending them the crossloop software link). This will enable you to live take control of this machine when connected over internet at your work point and you get to work on the client machine remotley. It gives you the screen shot of the client machine and you can use your keyboard, mouse, installed application, diagonis discs on your computer to solve the client issue.

Whats the best Part?

The best part is, you get paid doing it. As you register with CrossLoop Company( its free unless u want to be platinum....am free registered and its working for me tho offline at the moment) you fill in forms and ways you want to be paid.

The Challenge?

Internet here in Kenya is still expensive, hence working remotely especially solving issues that chew time over network( like server issues) with a client on WAN is costly. Good news is fiber optic entrance in Kenya, will reduce cost on this. The increase of internet speed will make remote solving of I.T Issues done faster hence increas of the service demand.

CrossLoop Promotion- Good offer read on
The company has reached its 10 million session target since it was launched and users( even u if u register now you can win) are being rewarded( a winner will be randomly picked) and win a trip to Montrey USA.
Conclusion

I believe in working remotely, this saves time and energy that can be directed elsewhere, reduction on traveling cost and the beauty in it is that you are able to reach different people at different location and help them without moving an inch from your office.. I seriously encourage kenyans to venture into this kind of stuffs and take advantage of fiber optic speeds and its already wide spread installation in Kenya. Remember Kenya is growing BIG, we should not remain behind and just cheer when M.J Safcom succeed with his moon dancing !!, he has found his Niche, where is yours? well... itkenya it.

This is the best time to get this talent at its metamorphosis stage and turn him into you butterfly. Advantage? Easy to convince him to accept the salary package being given provided he knows what he is getting into will nature and explore his career and that’s when you need an IT Expert ( 5 + more years experience)to carry the interview. He will ask him/her factitious questions that will keep the interviewee in check hence in the end the organization gets a qualified person. After you get your IT Man, put him on contract, this bound him to you and that’s when you train him/her and own him/her. When you train him/her, you not only empower him with knowledge you are also meeting the organization needs by skilling these person to come up with effective results on areas being assigned.
Acquiring Mac or Linux pc is the best options in terms of cost cutting- they get less in virus infection, IT support on in it in-terms of hardware repair, software repair/installation is minimal…things like data corruption will be unheard of..the whole scenario may look expensive as a start, but in the long run you will have saved much on money that could have been spent on out sourcing IT to which is expensive and sometimes they never finish the job. Hiring IT Experts has also become expensive as they want to be paid highly, also, most of them have opted to start there own business because of the increase of the IT Demand in Kenya hence getting a trust qualified one becomes tricky..what if there is a way to by pass this? what if you are sure of what you are buying is what you want and original? what if you can spend little and output it with the best results.

iTkenya is going to give you a little secret, the example today i will use is a printer cartridge/ Tonner/ Ribbon.

HP Printers are in mass here in Kenya therefore automatically its ink replacement becomes in demand, i don’t understand why some hp laser jet printer goes for 8,000/- and its Genuine toner going for 6,000 to 7,000/-( if you are lucky getting a genuine one)..At this point i get people whispering “Riffling the toner saves the day". i disagree...you see when you refill your toner, you make the printer use more energy in printing than it was designed to by the manufacture, hence in the long run, the printer will start to wear off and finally malfunction and that’s when you start to spend on repair and machine parts replacement. What most also people don’t know is that once a tonner has been used, refilling it to use it causes some ink spillage within the printer while printing resulting to spoiling printer parts and dirtying the printer, example of this is when you print a document and you see some lining on the output paper, continuous use of this spoils the printer.

To reduce cost on Printer/parts Replacement, printer service and repair, iTkenyait by;
Buy a genuine cartridge from known IT Certified Shops in town.
Never whatsoever use a refill ink toner/cartridge on a printer.
Always email, Avoid printing unnecessary, you are endangering the environment and also buying Rim Papers is costly.
If it’s a large organization that must print large number of documents ( L.P.Os, invoices, reports e.t.c) buy an Epson Dot-matrix printer( very cost effective there ribbon goes for 800/- and can print quit numbers of document before you replace it), only use HP Laser Jets printers for important reports and HP Photo printers for design work.
Centralize the printers in an area where there are easily accessible by all, this will make users keen on what they are printing and monitoring printer performance by IT Administrators can be easily achieved.

Tomorrow iTkenya will show you how to reduce cost on Hiring IT Experts, don’t miss

Quote of the day:

Don’t wait, make it happen

SAMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13641090943313265403noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4585567699049000407.post-86109999662988949472010-05-10T03:06:00.000-07:002010-05-10T03:38:00.892-07:00Magic of a Diagnostic Boot CD

At one time many of you have come across, a hard drive crash, Operating System corruption or systems failures. The scenarios is

You need to access your data to be able to back it up to a storage media be it a flash disk or external hard drive and the hard disk is unreadable hence computer cannot boot, you need to boot your PC and timely secure your data before system changes and the OS wont let you pass the booting screen.
You have a pain in the ass virus infection on your computer and you cannot install any anti-virus to remove the virus, even the best anti-virus( Kaspeskey, Norton/ Semantic, Avast) have failed because each time you launch the program something prevents it to install or scan the hard drive...and your only option is to format the computer or buy another hard drive and reinstall everything(it is a hustle and expensive to acquire all that programs and hard drives).

You may base on recovery software like GET NTFS/FAT tools or Power Data Recovery tool to restore data after a fresh installation but chances are getting that important file, document, mails, are minimal..in fact some recovery comes out with a different file formats to which accessing them takes another long process and eats up on your time.

To professionally achieve the best results, use a Boot-able Recovery CD. Hp and compac companies have there own CD that they use to boot with a returned failed HP PC to monitor hardware and software failures on it. The CD will pin points the failed areas and hence they get fixed. the client if the machine was not on warranty will get a hefty charge upon fixing this, especially if it was a server Machine.

To reduce cost and time spent on this, IT Administrators get a Hirens Boot CD and make things happen.

Some of the Functions of the Hirens Boot CD

You can boot with the CD and get to view your desktop/ hard drive to copy that very important file to your external Backup

On this Boot CD, there are menu Options that will allow you to run a virus scan and removal on your machine and kill that pain in the ass virus.

This Boot CD can regenerate that crushed hard drive, fix bad sectors on it and make that Hard drive perfectly functional again.

Within menus, you can repair hard drive partitions, create new hard drive portions and many many other things.

You can backup computer drivers for latter use.

Quote of the day
The Strong Survive, the Wise Excel

SAMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13641090943313265403noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4585567699049000407.post-9694160698786266922010-05-07T22:13:00.000-07:002010-05-07T22:38:58.459-07:00Social Networks and IT Control
Young and Old, working and hustles, jobless corners and sweet mamas at home..all meet at one point, at the social network i.e face book or twitter.
Here is what everything goes down, from face book fungas to mpango wa kando..you don’t need to know big words to do a kalifonication on anyone you just need a pimped user name, and cocky states updates, the rest, just follow the lead and in no time you will get what you wanted or feared what you can’t get...if you are business man..well here it’s your chance, make pages and advertise on this networks, choose your products wisely and also keep in mind you targeted customers and use this advertising tool well....for Churches, well preach on Brother. Preach on sister, you never know while you are spreading the good news you have prevented someone who almost spread their legs to a stranger......for quote mongers well, come up with you own, but big thanks to you, you get to inspire people and give them hope..and lastly people who are in a committed Relationship, well don’t what’s so ever make judgment or a decision basing on face booking or twittering comments on your partners wall, remember anybody can say anything. So Trust and always be patient

What does iTkenya have to do with social networks?

Well, he is the one that blocks this social networks websites in school, at work area or by request by a parent.
Parents, Employers, teachers are complaining performance output on some particular students, workers, kids effectiveness drops after and during time spent on this social network, with being monitored or not, at a point it is realized time was wasted during the access of this, and we all know, time is money..On the other hands i have seen friends moods change suddenly into a bolo young state and get pissed off after reading a comment or an update while others get a monalisa smile after a sweet pokes, what follows is decrease in customer service, attitude change and poor work input and in the case of monalisa, addiction..Hence less or no input to given assignment and loss of creativity.

To block this social websites you can download available soft-wares like anitporn just by doing a quick search on Google but the effective one that i have tested and use to come to give it a 5 star is Cyberoam Router. IT Administrators, Pissed off Manages,, you can go for this one. This can be acquired from certified IT Shops in town, get IT Guyz/ISP to install it and configured it for you. There you can block unwanted sites or set timers for internet access in your office..I know hackers have done a well job trying to pass this futures but i tell you, with you as the administrators and doing a monitoring check up on reports you will know this and make a timely decision

And those that browse using their phones, well, hard to control this but i tell you once they get there idea what is happening around them, it will decrease unless they want to spend money buying credits

Enjoy your weekend

SAMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13641090943313265403noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4585567699049000407.post-68654763278018464002010-05-07T00:05:00.000-07:002010-05-07T00:41:58.657-07:00Software piracy,,,,IT Hustlers
Where you are viewing this, weather in Cybercafes or at home or work area, computer application installed in that machine, 90% is pirated. Both speeds given and package is too hot, right now UUNET has an offer where by it installs you internet at Ksh45,000/- and you don't have to pay the usual ksh160,000/-, installation fee. That will give u a 1MB internet speed, fast enough to do your downloads and video streaming, plus did i mention they are in conjunction with Sony and they do supply Video Conferencing facilities, with the talk i had with James Mutunga, account Manager, it sounded a good deal and suitable for companies who communication is the key role..Accesskenya is ksh 55,000/- per month, and installation cost well almost the same as UUNET,

what makes the difference is, UUNET Equipments i hear( i haven't tasted them..want to) are more powerful than Accesskenya and they are not affected by weather changes, global cable maintenance.. the connection is strong and doesn't break that easily and if it does you wont notice. To achieve this, they had to stay with corporate clients so as to be able to attend them..Accesskenya equipments get affected by this changes and plus there service is a bit slow.. Good thing about them is if you have good PR with there support desk, then you wont have trouble being sorted out with desktop support. Also they go down to the roots and support home internet connection and corporate connection even to small firms, hence large market to handle.

So who is the best, I guess it depends with you needs

Enjoy you weekend, let me UUNET Mine.

SAMhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13641090943313265403noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4585567699049000407.post-54045821465938784452010-04-15T03:20:00.000-07:002010-04-15T03:43:41.513-07:00Dial up Internet Connection
Most of you don't remember but, this was a way back method of internet connection before broadband came in and now fiber-optic. This is the method that when you had to go to internet it will dial up a number, keep you waiting and then connect, sometimes it fails sometimes it is perfect. The Pain in the ass comes in when now you are downloading something and you have to keep time, This is the time you say F**k off and get out of the Cyber cafe as your money is getting finished.

As this technology is being faced off, other remote areas are still using it and its because this Safaricom, Orange Modems( I hate them to love them to use) can not give good reception there..Even making moblie phone calls you have to be in a raised area or climb up a tree before calling your ngwashes..., say areas like Tsvao East National Park where i was yesterday setting up a dial up Internet connection.
