LETS TALK TECH TODAY
As for me and my house, I know one thing, Technology rules. This is where we find free information that enters our minds and shape our future. I remember back in 90s when I was in primary school, I only new 9 Planets existed, now thanks to the present technology we have more than 10. By 2020, I am sure we will have 30 Planets.
Knowledge truly is power, right now we are the Einstein of the future, and whatever we code down is building the future. There were a time people dreamt of flying, now we got aeroplanes and the next big thing is telepathy. Now we are talking about video conferencing, in 20 years to come, we will be talking about hologram. People were worried about leprosy back then, now its Aids, cancer and I tell you what, by 2030 the cure will be with us. And finally the time travel Machine, we may have seen it in movies and think that this is just a sci fiction, if you are a fun of James bond movies then you will notice that whatever you saw in there, the car turning into a boat..hmm? now it’s a reality. All this changes happening in the world, is a fight to have that technology to crack time, So that we can go back in world war times to see what transpired. Go back in medieval times to experience crucifixion of Christ, and again travel to the future to see how robots are becoming tour guides, drivers and watchmen. Travel to the future and see humans living with Aliens and be able to make homes in the discovered new planets since humans population on earth is rapidly increasing. The idea is not just to have fun traveling back and forth, but actually come up with codes that will be able to help us in real-time happenings of the world.
My friend, don’t let your status quo diminish you, rise up and take part in the future, lets assemble as much knowledge as we can, get hold of that itchy information that seems to eat your mind. I believe that, if I cannot be able to finalize my code and solve the equation this time, then I will complete my ideas and plant it to my son, who will code it to his son and finally the grandson with enough technology around him, will give birth to a Time travel machine.
I tell you, developing softwares or coding applications is what should be put as first priority, gigantic machines, super computers do not teleport people, but energy and code does. For energy, we got the Nuclear Energy. People think that this is mostly used to fuel wars, but I insist, this is the energy to use to teleport us and power that engine to the year 1960s and vroom 2050 pap!
With that, let me end this by saying that never hold back information especially tech ones, God created us as powerful beings beyond measure, so let’s do some coding, I want to have a chat with Abraham Lincoln.

The Light-Driven Computer-How it works
The world is gearing into more advanced and super first gadgets, and today i got the chance to admire what is happening around IBM world.
Read on Courtesy of IBM:
The speed of light is as fast as it gets, and IBM researchers are exploiting that fact to give supercomputers a boost. They’ve made the smallest-yet silicon chips that use light to transmit information.
Most parts of the chip resemble those found on any other commercial chip. The parts that process or transform information—in other words, the parts that do the actual computing—still deploy electrons moving through semiconductor gates. But the interconnects, the lines that shuttle information between different areas within a chip, are drastically different. Instead of shuttling electrons, which can slow down significantly when the interconnects heat up, they shuttle light. That’s because light is easy to contain and loses less information as it travels. The researchers hope that this quick communication will make possible the first exascale computers—that is, computers that can perform a billion billion computations per second, 1,000 times as fast as today’s speediest systems.
One other benefit, says IBM engineer Will Green: The optical interconnects use significantly less power, making them cheaper to run. That’s particularly important given that supercomputers typically consume megawatts of power during operation. IBM, which has already made a working prototype, says a commercial version of the chip will debut in a supercomputer in around 2018.

And I conclude, where we are heading is far much important than where we are now, The future is created 'now'

Uceprotect is not a reputable blacklist site
Being a system administrator you need always to put your ears on the ground and not just follow the usual trend. The other day, one of the gateways IP Address got blacklisted, according to them, our mail server or one of the network computers was spamming. IT was that time you go around 30 computers to figure out which one is spamming, after whole the exercise you discover that none is.I again made several requests to get white listed but in vain.
However, I did found out that Uceprotect is not a reputable blacklist site, at the end of wanting to get whitelisted, I was told to pay for it. This provoked me to dig deeper on my research and truly discovered that Uceprotect is a fake blacklist site and it just want to make money by blacklisting several IP Addresses that have a repetitive Internet activity, it doesn’t check if this activity are Legit or are coming from trusted sources
.
The Best solution was to get hold of your I.S.P and let them deal with it, and for sure it saved me lot of a hustle.
The Best solution was to get hold of your I.S.P and let them deal with it, and for sure it saved me lot of a hustle.
So how does one get blacklisted, well iTkenya discovered that:
•If your Exchange Server is configured to act as an open relay, it means that spammers can pass spam through your mail server in route to its final destination. So all spam that appears to your recipient will appear coming from your domain.
•Spammers need to keep their identity concealed, so they make up e-mail addresses every time they send out spam, this email address can be created using your domain
•An IP address is typically blacklisted either because it is associated with a server that is acting as a mail relay, or because a spammer is spoofing the IP address.
And how does one avoid this
•Make sure you have correct IP address mapping
•Make sure your mail server is not configured as an open relay
•Always Run Antispyware and scan your computers to free them from viruses and malwares

Pasha Communities
Hooray mmm something to smile about, last week i got an opportunity to appear on coast week, well brilliant, if you missed it go iTKenya.Hopefully if all goes well by end of this year, Nation/Standard newspaper and oh yes Times Magazine(hehehe), will feature iTkenya diaries and ideas. This will be a dream come true, while am at it. here comes PASHA COMMUNITIES.
Kenya ICT Board and Family Bank have launched a Ksh 320 million loan facility to support the establishment of Cyber Centres across the country calling them .Pasha Centres.
This Centres,to be developed in rural areas will be offering bureau and internet services for the public to get informed and improve there leaving standards.
The best part is you can own this Pasha Centre and run it to make money. All you need is an excellent Business Plan.Capital? well that's where Family Bank comes in and with below simple steps you will be good to go.
Applicants have 30 days from 24th January 2011 to submit their business plans

What next for facebook
So Facebook has 600million users, brilliant, I want to know, what is Zuckerberg thinking, planning. What next for Facebook. It has become a powerhouse that holds information, be it personal or companies.
What is the boy of Facebook planning to do with all this information, the one who was voted 2010 Person of the year by time magazine and recently worse dressed celebrity?
By creating Facebook account adding friends and updating our profiles we give away all out details to the public, (the privacy thing, doesn’t work, they are workaround ways to suck information and hey do you trust Zuckerberg and his team) this everyone knows and we are still doing it. I believe the boy is smiling all day to the bank like every day. He is making money through advertisements and he will never stop.
Today iTkenya has discovered something different. Mr. Zuckerberg has a something else major in his genius mind.
I can feel it in my gut, and it will be powerful, I am not talking about him wanting to rule the world, coming up with an operating system or a social operating system, maybe a Facebook search engine something more like Wikipedia, Bing and Google.
I am talking about shares.
His company has grown and is still growing, soon you will hear about Facebook shares, I hope it won’t be like our own safaricom and oh before I forgot I also what to know if Zuckerberg is on C.I.A pay cheque and also if he is on twitter…Damn he is!!
Good day people
