 Kenya ICT Board and Family Bank have launched a Ksh 320 million loan facility to support the establishment of  Cyber Centres across the country calling them .Pasha Centres.

This Centres,to be developed in rural areas will be offering bureau and internet services for the public to get informed and improve there leaving standards.

The best part is you can own this Pasha Centre and run it to make money.All you need is an excellent Business Plan.Capital? well that's where Family Bank comes in and  with below simple steps you will be good to go.

Step-1 Complete the Pasha Loan application form (forms can be collected at any Family Bank branch, or downloaded from www.ict.go.ke. (click here to download the Pasha Loan application form)

Step-2: Download and complete a business plan on www.ict.go.ke

Step-3: Present both the business plan and application form to the nearest Family Bank branch. (Click here to view Family Bank branches.)

Step-4: Wait to get feedback from either Family Bank or the Kenya ICT Board. 

Applicants have 30 days  from 24th January 2011 to submit their business plans

What next for facebook

So Facebook has 600million users, brilliant, I want to know, what is Zuckerberg thinking, planning. What next for Facebook. It has become a powerhouse that holds information, be it personal or companies.

What is the boy of Facebook planning to do with all this information, the one who was voted 2010 Person of the year by time magazine and recently worse dressed celebrity?

By creating Facebook account adding friends and updating our profiles we give away all out details to the public, (the privacy thing, doesn’t work, they are workaround ways to suck information and hey do you trust Zuckerberg and his team) this everyone knows and we are still doing it. I believe the boy is smiling all day to the bank like every day. He is making money through advertisements and he will never stop.

Today iTkenya has discovered something different. Mr.  Zuckerberg has a something else major in his genius mind.

I can feel it in my gut, and it will be powerful, I am not talking about him wanting to rule the world, coming up with an operating system or a social operating system, maybe a Facebook search engine something more like Wikipedia, Bing and Google.
 
I am talking about shares.
 
His company has grown and is still growing, soon you will hear about Facebook shares, I hope it won’t be like our own safaricom and oh before I forgot I also what to know if Zuckerberg is on C.I.A pay cheque and also if he is on twitter…Damn he is!!

AVG 2011 problems...

Hey People, its been a while..well, I am back and here to stay( Welcome back..welcome back..welcome baaaack)...AVG being one of the most reliable with  FREE anti Virus available, with the 2011 version  out already,makes it number 1 anti virus mostly downloaded.Well this time round they did a bad job..apparently this Version makes computers to flood websites with unnecessary HTTP requests and in many cases prevents users from properly using their browsers.

 

Most users who have already installed it in their computers and have complined there browsers to shurt down unexpectdly and lose some information..well the remedy is obvoiously to uninstall it and install the old version and wait till they solve this.

Google shutting down one of its app by end year...

Google Wave by end of 2010 it will be no more, most people haven't even realize its existence and is being axed..or is it people are too dummies to use it and thus those signed up to use it droped using it trigerring a mass withdrawal from it? In my opinion. I advice google not to shut it down complitely only put a pause on it as this is future of comunication, its just that the technology came too quickly and many users couldnt understand it to use it, with time it would pick up. blame it on Face book, twitter,msn, yahoo messenger and myspace..dominating internet communications.

So what is Google wave,..Google wave is a web-based service, computing platform, and communications protocol designed to merge e-mail, instant messaging, wikis, and social networking, all into one platform. Here you can chat REAL TIME with friends, check mail and network..You can also do daily planing for your meetings and activities in line for the day. To me, it is something that will help people balance their time spent on chatting and plans made for the day.. Trust me, people especially young people have been caught up spending long hours twitting forgetting to sturdy for their exam, or spend quality time with friends and family or complete some task..

Furthermore the people who designed Google Maps, the brothers( Jens and Lars Rasmussen) were the ones behind this. Meaning this is something..Google don't shut it down, improve it and that's iTkenyait.

For more information and registering to use it before it is shut down, hey by the way, you joining or signing up may give Google a second thought and maintain it..Common guyz..

BEWARE ON DELL COMPUTERS...........

Hi all..i have been down some past days but i am back on track now and planning to update regularly my blog. Truly it is not easy to update the sites like daily or every hour, you need to have topics, touch real issues and find a way to keep your readers glued on your blog. as much as I try to find loyal readers, daily life too has its plans and hey God too... so you just have to keep on going, i know one time when more word will be on the street about iTkenya then yeah...Enough said.

Dell have been on the news lately on some fault they had on their machines, apparently some students subjected the computers to some maths and the thing went dead..How can you give some instruction on computer( we are talking about dell) and then they go numb, can happen if there is a  hardware faultiness after long use, but well the machines had to be taken to the Dell company and some manufacturer faults were found..now the dell company are on their toes.

so if you want to buy a dell machine or like you are going to do now, i suggest you put it on hold till this story is resolved.
